ARRASTRA GULCH TO LITTLE GIANT BASIN
This route is a side road of Colorado 110 near Silverton. It starts off the unmarked turnoff to arrastra gulch and It climbs from 9,850' to above 12,200'. It passes the Black Prince Mining Camp and other numerous old mining remains before reaching picturesque gold lake in Little Giant Basin. this route is a rough and rocky four-wheel drive road that ascends a narrow shelf with steep drop-offs that has limited opportunity for passing. Zarita and I hiked up the road in order to visit this amazing area.
